There are many ways to get free neopoints and items throughout Neopia. Here they are:
The Giant Jelly in Jelly World
Sitting in the middle of Jelly World is a gigantic jelly mold. If your Neopet is hungry, why not grab a spoon and take some yummy jelly to eat? You can pick up
one jelly each day and it’s good for two meals.
The Soup Kitchen in the Marketplace
This is a truly wonderful spot for poor Neopians. Really poor people (under 2,000 NP) can get handouts at the
Soup Kitchen. This way, truly poor Neopians can feed their pets and sell the free omelette piece.
Coltzan's Shrine in the Lost Desert
This handy little spot will never do something bad to your pet. You can drop by every twelve hours and try to
get blessed with something. Sometimes nothing will happen, but it's worth trying because according to Neopets, every day the
Shrine will give one lucky Neopian 1 million neopoints.
Here is the general breakdown for times, since some times are better than others:
Speed: Every fifth second of the hour
Defense: Every tenth second of the hour
Strength: Every thirty minutes
of the hour
Endurance (hit points) : Every hour of the day
Level: Every two hours of the day
Burnt Food: 11:00 -
12:00 NST
Dubloons: 55 seconds past the minute
In other words, if you want a dubloon, drop by at 09:01:55. The 55 indicates the 55 seconds past the minute.
The Neopet Fruit Machine in the Lost Desert
Roll Up... Roll Up, its the one and only Neopet Fruit Machine. If the first two fruits match you win a prize.
If all three fruits match you win a really big prize. Take a chance at winning neopoints and possibly a piece of Lost Desert
fruit. This is available once per day.
Tombola on Mystery Island
Great prizes to be won, just put your hand (or paw) in, pick up a tombola ticket, and see what prize you win.
Anything ending with a 0, 2 or 5 is a winner.
Snowager in the Ice Caves
At certains times, you can sneak into his lair and try to swipe an item. If he wakes up and blasts you, you will want to
take advantage of another freebie: the Healing Spings in Faeriland.
Currently, the Snowager sleeps during these times:
6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. (NST)
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (NST)
10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. (NST)
The Healing Springs in Faerieland
This great little spot will help heal your pet once every 45 minutes. Sometimes it may only restore one hit point for one
pet, but sometimes it will completely heal and feed all of your pets. It sure beats spending np on Healing Potions or really
expensive cures. If you are lucky, you may also pick up free snowballs or healing potions.
The Giant Omelette in Tyrannia
You can get a free omelette once a day here. Each omelette is good for three meals. With careful management, you may never
have to buy food for your pets again. Of course, my pet is spoiled and always gets treats.
The Money Tree in the main shop area
The Money Tree is a place where people donate their Neopoints, and people who are far more needy can come and get them...if
you wish to make a donation or see if there is anything going for free, then this is the right place! The more items you take
per day, the less chance of you picking something up. Remember, once you have established yourself, be nice and donate once
and a while so new users can get the same chance you did.

with Faeries that Balthazar has captured.
Health Frog Giveaway - 7 AM (NST) Daily
In an attempt to promote healthy food choices, the Health Food store loads up the Money Tree with some nice healthy snacks.
Muntando Fruit - Around 10:45 (NST), Monday - AM or PM Muntando Fruit can raise your pets stats...if
you are lucky...

The National Neopian Bank and Your Safety Deposit Box in the main shop area
This may be one of the most overlooked freebies on the site. All extra np should be kept in your bank account.
Not only will you earn interest on it, but money in your account cannot be stolen by ghosts or other evil creatures
of Neopia. Note that you must collect your interest yourself by clicking the "Collect Interest" button each day before
making a deposit or withdrawal.
Your Safety Deposit Box is also a great place to store your items. You get an SDB once you have created your
bank account. I'm listing it with the freebies in connection with the bank to make one important point: items in your SDB
cannot be stolen by ghosts or other evil creatures of Neopia.
The Meridell Rubbish Dump
Just outside of Meri Acres farm is a big pile of rubbish - it's where people go to get rid of stuff that has
started to smell SO bad they don't want to be near it any more. It works much the same as the Money Tree but there
is a very small chance you may find a really really rare artifact. Have a look through, you may find some exciting stuff!
