Destruct-o-Match II

There is a lovely patch of land, down by a stream that would just be a perfect place to build your Tyrannian village, but there is a problem. Boulders everywhere! Blue boulders, yellow boulders, red boulders... and they have to be cleared before you start building.

In Destruct-O-Match II you have to group up boulders of the same colour, and then click to remove them. Only groups of 2 or more matching boulders can be removed in this way. The more boulders you clear at once the more points you earn, and to progress to the next level you need to achieve a certain number of points.

Some boulders have symbols on - if you manage to clear one of these boulders then something special will happen. Check the in-game instructions to find out what each icon does!

Dice-A-Roo

There are five dice that you roll one at a time. You start with the red die, then move to the blue, the green, the yellow, and lastly the silver die.

This is one of my all time favorite games on this site. Once you get to the green die, you can start winning food. By the time you get to the silver die, you can win faeries. If you like games of chance, this is a great one.

Oooh... what a wicked Ruki. He has stolen all the dice from all the board games in Neopia!

You must enter his evil dimension and free the dice! Control each dice by using the arrow keys. The topmost face of the dice must match the exit tile in order to finish the level. Every move that you take will make your bonus smaller, so try and complete the levels as quickly as possible. You will lose a life if time runs out, and you only get three lives.

Dice Escape is a Shockwave 3D game!

This means that if you don't have a 3D accelerator card the game may not run as fast as it possibly could.

Double or Nothing

The name pretty much says it all for this Meridell game of chance.

To play, hand Snargan the Castle Treasurer 10 NP. Click on the coin below Snargan's picture to toss it. If it's heads you double your cash, and you can keep going as many times as you want. If it's tails then Snargan keeps yer cash.

Easy, right? Well, let's see how well you do...


Dubloon Disaster

You play Dorak, an enterprising young Krawk in a rowing boat. Try and salvage as much of the treasure as possible, but avoid the homing mines that are being fired from the Black Pawkeet. Use the left and right arrow keys to turn, up arrow key to accelerate and the down arrow key to reverse.

I'm not real fond of games like this...you have too little control over your character. The trick is to be patient and let the mines destroy each other or self destruct. Random elements like whirlpools make this difficult.


Escape from Meridell Castle

Valrigard the Draik has been imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. Can you help him escape from Meridell Castle? Use the arrow keys to fly and walk the platforms. Be careful to watch your energy meter, if it runs out Valrigard will not be able to sustain flight. The Space Bar controls your sword, and it will work on most enemies.

I'm told that you'll do fine as long as you take your time...I don't have much luck at it, though.

Escape to Kreludor

Gorix and Cylara have just jettisoned out the side of the Virtupets Space Station in an attempt to flee the evil Dr. Sloth. Unfortunately he has noticed their escape and sent his Virtupets Fighters to stop them! You must help our heroes defeat the fighters and escape... to Kreludor!

Move the Escape Pod by clicking on the square you wish to move to. It can only move one space at a time, however. Once you have moved, the Virtupets Fighters will then move to intercept you. Click on your escape pod (or press Space) to fire torpedoes out either side. Use wormholes to teleport to a random location, and collect gems for bonuses. Comets are indestructible - avoid them at all costs!


Evil Fuzzles from Beyond the Stars

Mutant Fuzzles are attacking the Virtupets Space Station. You play Zygorax, a third class maintenance worker responsible for waste disposal... but instead of neocola cans and juppie stalks, today you have to dispose of something far far scarier... Earn points for each kill, and spend these at the end of each level to upgrade your walker.

This is an old-style arcade "shooter" where you shoot the invading fuzzles who fly at you from random directions while also trying to remove the bombs they have planted along the way.

Use the Arrow Keys to get the petpets to safety before Balthazar eats them all. You automatically pick up each petpet as you touch it (use the Space Bar to drop the petpet). You have three lives, and you lose one each time you, or a petpet gets eaten. Picking up a Snowflake will freeze Balthazar temporarily, and picking up an orange speed orb will give you a temporary burst of speed.

Fun and mindless...if the "cute" factor doesn't overwhelm you.

Faerie Bubbles

Faerie Bubbles pop if you get three of the same type together, and it's up to you to clear each level by popping all of them. Use the left and right arrow keys to move the bubble cannon and press the space bar to fire.

If you get four or more bubbles together you will set off a combo.

Faerie Caves II - Fyora's Quest

Fyora has devised another set of excruciatingly hard puzzles for you to solve. Step aside Garon the Lupe, this time Quaglor the Intrepid has taken on the challenge.

To complete a level you must find the Purple Key, it will unlock the door to the next level. Each level is a different colour, this corresponds to a different faerie-type. The Air level will have balloons, where the Fire level has volcanic boulders.

The return/remake of an old favorite. Very well done.


Faerie Cloud Racers

Hop into your Cloud Racer, and try to head your opponent off with your thick smoke trails. Use the arrow keys to navigate the racer. Try and last as long as possible against a variety of opponents without hitting either the walls or either of the two smoke trails left by your racers. You can also play this game 2 player against a friend.

When this game first came out, lots of users were unhappy about the premise.

Florg is a mutant chia with a taste for petpets. Your job is to keep his dinner on the plate as they run for their lives to get away from Florg's tongue.

Fetch

Navigate through the maze in a limited number of moves to find both a target object and the exit.

I didn't really care for this one. You cannot see the object or the exit unless you are actually on it...then you only see a line of text saying you've found it. At least it's not another product placement, though.


Food Chase

The Japanese version of the product placement game, Dash n Dine. Use the arrow keys to move your Scorchio around. Collect all of the food on the level to continue. Use the space bar to tail whip the Jubjubs and Korbats or the down arrow to shoot a Flame Sphere.

Guess the Weight of the Marrow


Food Club

At Foodclub, the object of the game is to place bets on the pirate(s) that you think will win in an eating competition. You must be wise in your decisions, as there are many factors that need to be taken into account when placing your bet.

Do not confuse this with the Gourmet Club, which keeps track of all the gourmet foods your pet has eaten.

I haven't really had time to play this one, yet.

Poogle Racing


Freaky Factory

In this game you play a factory worker employed by Krelufun Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Virtupets, Inc (the corporate arm of Dr. Sloth's empire.) It's nearing the end of the quarter, and management have just sold a huge amount of little Neopet miniatures, much more than the factory could produce, but that's not their problem is it... oh no... and if that order cannot be fulfilled it's YOUR job on the line!

So it's your job to produce the miniatures. Over on the right hand side of the screen you will see what colour miniature you have to produce next. Blobs of liquid Kreludite scroll across the top of the screen. It is your job to make sure (by clicking on them with the mouse) that they fall into the correct vat. Red blobs go into the Red vat and so on.

Kreludite is a very unstable material, and prone to mutation. This is why you will see different blobs scroll across at less frequent intervals. Each one has a special effect, but you'll have to work them out for yourself. Lastly, watch out for the Grundo Thief, he'll try and steal from your production line, but you can click him to bump him on the head.

Fruit Machine

You get one spin every day and if the first two fruits match you win a prize. If all three fruits match you win a really big prize!

Like many of the other daily "freebies", you either win something or you don't.

Frumball

To play Frumball you must hit the ball into the other larger balls to make them vanish. You must use the mouse to control the intergalactic space bat. If you fail to hit the ball, you lose a life - lose all your lives and its GAME OVER. Sometimes a power-up will fall from the screen, if you pick this up with your bat something good may happen! Good luck!


Gadgadsgame

Fruits will fall from the top of the screen, use the left and right arrow keys to move the fruits, and the space bar to rotate the fruits. The aim is to use the bombs (the fruits with the spark on) to blow up fruits of the same type. If you fill up the entire play area with fruits, its game over.

Just your basic "Tetris" clone.

Bomb or build? That's just one of the choices you'll have to make in Geos.

As with any multiplayer game, don't play it unless you don't mind your oponent wandering off in the middle of the game...


GloPhone

Match four or more of the same coloured GloPhones and they will fade away, leaving a picture image. Match 4 or more of the same pictures to clear the tile and get points. Getting combos (clearing two or more groups of tiles) will give more points. You are allowed to use two bombs per game, which will clear any phone or picture tiles.

Click on the bomb icon on the scoreboard, then on the game board to set off a bomb. Fill the progress meter on the scoreboard to finish the level.

Your game ends when there are no empty spaces left.

When Neopets labeled this as "hard", they weren't kidding! I'm still trying to figure out the rules...they are insane!

If you want to play this, you better print out the rules first. I hope you have better luck than I have had so far.

This is a really great game for younger kids, but anyone else probably wouldn't care for it that much unless they were really bored.

Gourmet Club Bowls

In this game, you play against a variety of opponents. You each get to roll one of your bowls (yours are red, your opponent's are blue) down the green to try and get it closest to the jack (the white ball). You may knock your opponent's bowls out of play, and he may do the same to you, but if the jack goes out of play your opponent gets 2 points.

At the end of each round, points are awarded depending on the number of bowls in play that you have nearest to the jack. If there are two blue balls closest, that means you score two points. The first to 7 wins the match, and moves on to play a harder opponent! Lastly, watch out, in later levels there may be hazards on the green that will hinder your play.

In this game you play Stan the Kyrii, a wily thief sneaking his way around the city of Sakhmet trying to steal some food to eat. Unfortunately, life is not that simple - there are scary Elephante guards who will do their best to catch you and throw you in the castle dungeons.

This Aladin themed game didn't really catch my interest...


Grarrl Keno

Choose from two to ten eggs on the board. The Grarrl will roar, and ten eggs will hatch into baby Grarrls. If any of the numbers you chose match the eggs that hatch, you could be in for a big prize.

All luck, no skill involved, as far as I can tell...

Hannah and the Ice Caves

Having completed the Pirate Caves, Hannah's back, and this time she's not alone. In Hannah and the Ice Caves you have help from your friend Armin the Bori. He may not be able to jump as high as Hannah, and he can't swim but Armin can crawl through snow and destroy some enemies by running them over.

To complete each level you must guide both Hannah and Armin to the exit. Open the door by collecting every piece of treasure on the level. Be careful when running as the icy ground will make you slide all over the place!

The aim of the game is to collect all the treasure and get to the exit. Use the arrow keys to move and the space bar to jump. Be sure to go through the tutorial first.


Hannah and the Pirate Caves

Hannah the Usul always wanted a life of danger. Unfortunately, working in a tavern on Krawk Island was both boring and badly-paid. One day she was reading an old book that spoke of ancient caves, built by pirates many years ago - a place where they could hide their loot, but unfortunately guarded by traps and monsters. Hannah couldn't wait - this was exactly the thing she'd been looking for.

The aim of the game is to collect all the treasure and get to the exit. Use the arrow keys to move and the space bar to jump. Be sure to go through the tutorial first.

Haunted Mansion

To escape The Haunted Mansion, Jim Evers must first learn its story and secrets. To help him in his quest, Madame Leota has cast a spell to let him fly about the mansion, collecting its artifacts.

Use arrow keys to guide Jim through the air. Collect floating mystical items and avoid the floating ghost heads in your path. If you collect all the items within the time limit, you'll advance to the next level. If you collide with too many ghosts, the game is over. Reach the last round and the key appears. Collect it to unlock the mysteries of the mansion and escape!


Hot Grilled Neggs

One of the ultimate product placement games. This is available only to subscribers to mysingtel or SingNet internet service providers. I'm not interested in playing a game to pay for a new service just for that.

Hubrid's Hero Heist

Hubrid Nox has stolen all the Heroes from the Neopets Trading Card Game... all part of his evil master plan to make sure that him and the other villains will not be opposed when they try to take over the whole of Neopia.

In this game (which is based on the Neopets TCG of course!) you play the Poogle Apprentice, a young wanna-be sorcerer who has just found out about Hubrid's evil plans. It is up to you to reclaim the Heroes and save the day. It's not going to be easy however, Hubrid's ghost minions will try to stop you every step of the way.

To play, use the arrow keys to move, and the space bar to cast your shrink spell. When you shrink an enemy, they remain small for a few seconds, then run over them to squish them. Press the up/down arrow and the space bar together to cast a teleport spell.


Ice Cream Factory

Adee the Chia is raiding the local Ice Cream factory to try and get a tasty bite to eat, but has been surprised when she sets the alarm off and is fired upon by the security Ice Cream cannons. Help Adee dodge the vicious scoops of ice-cream and navigate her way through the box-filled warehouse to pick up as many points as possible!

Great game for little kids.

Once every 12 hours, you can get a quest from the Earth Faerie, Illusen. You only have a few minutes to find the random item she asks you to fetch. If you get the item in time, she increases your overall score and occasionally gives you an item. If you fail, your score is wiped clean and you have to start completely over...in 12 hours. Note that she doesn't get along with Jhudora, so if you've recently done one of her quests you can't do one for Illusen for a while.

Unlike the Uber Faerie Quests (random events) you can use the Shop Wizard to help you find what she wants.

Invasion of Meridell

Defend your Meridell villages against the invading monsters. Win by defeating all of the invading Neopets in each battle. Lose when the invading Neopets destroy four out of your six villages, or when all of your troops are defeated.

Truly a convoluted game of logic and skill.

Jelly Processing Plant

Use the arrow keys to control Foreman Buzz to put the correctly coloured jellies into their appropriately labelled chutes for processing. If any ice cream comes down the conveyor belt, feed it to the Hungry Skeith. Use the space bar to pick up and drop the jelly and ice cream.

Totally mindless, but I suppose it could be good if you need to waste time.


Jhudoras Cloud

Once every 12 hours, you can get a quest from the Dark Faerie, Jhudora. You only have a few minutes to find the random item she asks you to fetch. If you get the item in time, she increases your overall score and occasionally gives you an item. If you fail, your score is wiped clean and you have to start completely over...in 12 hours. Note that she doesn't get along with Illusen, so if you've recently done one of her quests you can't do one for Jhudora for a while.

Neopian spin on the casino favorite. You play against your pet. Same rules as Black Jack: closest to 21 wins. Blackjack pays 50% more than a normal win.

If you like Black Jack then you will probably like this one. Otherwise, better skip it.

Jungle Jumble

Your goal is to win points by correctly solving the puzzle. Spin the wheel, then choose a letter that you think is in the puzzle. If the letter is in the puzzle, points will be added to your total. If the letter isn't in the puzzle, a strike will be placed under your total. If your spin lands on bankruptcy, your total is wiped out, and a strike is added. If you fill in all the correct letters in the puzzle then you win.

Basically, it's a Wheel of Fortune game with a Trix theme.


Kacheek Seek

Quick and easy way to earn 500np or more per day. This is one of my first stops when I need a little extra np. I just don't understand why this is in the Luck/Chance area...

Select the location you want your pet to hide in. Click where you think your pet is hiding. Keep playing until your pet is bored.

It's just like checkers or draughts so you already know the rules.

I never play...I get too frustrated when the other person wanders off in the middle of the game.

Help the gelert "Korral" all the kaus into the barn before time runs out.

Neopets removed the link to this on their game site, but it still works . This was one of the earliest games on the site. You cannot get any points for it, but it's a great time killer.


Kiko Match II

Match the kiko pairs as quickly as you can in this fast and furious game of concentration. The faster you complete it the higher your score. Match up each pair of kikos as fast as possible to win. Score more than 110, and neopets will double your score.

This is great quick np maker.

Kacheek Seek


Kiss the Mortog

Simply click on the Mortog you think is the prince (or princess). If you are lucky, you win Neopoints - you can collect those Neopoints or continue. Unfortunately non-magical Mortogs HATE being kissed... and explode as a result. When this happens you lose ALL the Neopoints you would have won.

Very similar to "Guess the Card".

Dr. Sloth has stored all the ingredients to make his Transmogrification Potions in a mysterious old evil laboratory full of nasty Korbats and Spyders. Your mission is to go in there armed with your trusty bat and smash as many boxes as possible to foil Sloth's evil plans! When the potion bottles drop, pick them up, you never know what will happen!

The Neopets version of Breakout. This is one of the few games for Fall/Winter 2001 that is not a product endorsement. I really like this game. I expect to become totally addicted to it soon.

Underneath the Golden Dubloon restaurant is a dingy, small little room used solely for gambling. Only one game is played - Krawps, possibly the most confusing game ever to hit the shores of Krawk Island, or, well.. the whole of Neopia for that matter.

Kreludan Mining Corp.

Greetings. We are *whirr* just a couple of poor starving *bzzzz* miners. We need your help to mine precious Kreludan Metal, which we will use so our master can conq... *tsschhk* use to sell to afford a few scraps of bread for our families.

To help us you must *whirr* pilot a remote drone. Use the arrow keys to rotate the drone and the *clunk* up arrow to thrust. The space bar will fire your laser (handy for killing sentient alien fungus), and lastly use the b key to engage the tractor beam. Bring the metal back to our base by dropping it in the glowing yellow collection area.

This game seems to be a reincarnation of Earth Faerie Aces, a game currently found in the Games Graveyard. I find the controls difficult and the general game play unsatisfying.

Start by shooting the peanut out of the Elephante's trunk. Click on the left and right arrow keys to power up your throw. Once you get as high as you can, click the up arrow to throw. Now help the Puppyblew chase the peanut down using the arrow keys again. Use the right arrow to move the Puppyblew forward in the screen and stay lined up with the shadow. Use special key combinations to score more point.

To win you need to have a larger fleet than your opponent when all spaces are filled or one of you has no further moves. Create new "ships" or capture those of your oponent.

This is a multi-player game. Your oponent will be another player rather than the computer. I don't play multi-player games. My oponents tend to wander off in the middle of the game.

Barry the Baby Shoyru was playing Marbles last night - and forgot to put them away. Now they are very, very angry. Help Barry guide his marbles back to his toy box.

To play, use the mouse to click on a bouncer (little triangles that make up the background). The Marblemen will bounce off the bouncer. Your aim - to get all the Marblemen back into the toy box.

Attack of the Slorgs

Meridell. Home to some of the finest fruits and vegetables in the whole of Neopia. At least that is true most of the time, for when the icky, nasty Slorgs decide they are hungry there is not a farmer in the land who can stop them.

In Attack of the Slorgs you play a resourceful Yurble farmer who has decided to take things into his own hands. You have spent the last few weeks making your Slorgeriser X4, a machine that spits out balls of Slorg-B-Gone.

Slorgs can only be repelled by balls of Slorg-B-Gone that are the same colour as them, and it has to be at least three of them at a time. If you fail to repel the Slorgs, they will increase in number - so watch out! Use the arrow keys to aim the Slorgeriser right and left, and press the Space Bar to fire.


Avatar: The Last Airbender

Match the image, sound clip, video clip, or fact on the right side of the screen to the correct description on the left. You'll get points if you're right, but points are taken away if you're wrong. Get them all before time runs out to finish the game.

Better Than You

Every 1 to 2 weeks a new game is chosen and you have a chance to win a trophy by beating the score they select. If this week's game is one you enjoy, why not try to win a trophy?

Bilge Dice

Players take turns rolling a series of dice and the one with the highest total in the end is the winner. There is one catch - players must have secured a roll of 1 and a roll of 4 before the end in order for the player's score to count.

Neopets lists this a medium, but I've had more trouble with this than some of the hard games. The controls take a lot of getting used to (at least they did for me). One good thing about it is two people can challenge each other on the same computer. If you have a friend over, why not use this as a way to introduce them to Neopets?

Cannon Shot

Click the mouse button to begin, and the cannon will be pushed towards the foul line. Make sure you stop running before you cross the foul line. Click the screen again to begin the upswing of the cannon from 0 degrees to 90 degrees (straight upwards). Finally, click the mouse one last time to launch Flippy at the target.

Points are rewarded for landing your character in the barrel of water. Gameplay continues if you land inside the barrel. Earn Neopoints based on accuracy.

This is a great game if you like puzzles and have an analytical mind. Otherwise, you probably won't like it at all. I really like this one.


CTC: Downhill Speed-Demon

Your mission is to snowboard down the course in under a minute. Along the way, make sure that you avoid the trees and rocks, go through the slalom flags, and collect Cinnamon Toast Crunch pieces for extra points.

Use your left and right arrows to turn, but be careful -- turning will cause you to slow down.

Complete the slaloms in all three courses to win the game and earn an additional bonus.

I suppose it's not as bad as some of the other product placement games...

Mitch the Scorchio is hungry and traveling through Neopia (Lost Desert, Mystery Island) collecting McDonald's Golden Arches® in order to buy great Dollar Menu® items. Avoid the Korbats and JubsJubs, and watch out for the changing pathways. If you see an open path on the bottom of the screen, you can jump down and come back at the top. Collect 10 Golden Arches® to progress to the next area. Use the left and right arrow key to move, and the up arrow to jump.

The aim of the game is to hit the ball into the opponents goal. Use the arrow keys to move left and right, and the up arrow to move forward.

I found the controls to be very awkward. You can play a two-person version, though.

Deckswabber

Q-Bert style game where you change the tiles to a different color as you move across them. Pick up coins and avoid the pirates to increase your score. If you get killed, you can start from the same level up to three times, but you will lose 30 points. .

May not be that great if you are an arcade style game fan, but if you like puzzles, it's lots of fun.

There are 3 different difficulty levels and six different questions total, but sometimes the questions will get reversed. (For example, 'which does NOT start with the letter L'?) Other times the picture will be upside-down, a silhouette or they'll all be moving.

It's not just Neopets that need to eat and drink. At this home for lost Meepits, it's up to you to make sure all the little Meepit children get their daily Juppie Juice.

In this game you are controlling the Juice-O-Matic, an overly complicated machine designed to deliver fresh Juppie Juice to Meepits. Click on the each pipe to rotate it clockwise so that there is a unbroken pipe between the Juppie Juice and the Meepits. Sometimes you will have to mix colours together to create a new one.

If a Meepit drinks Juppie Juice that is the same colour as them you get extra points (they are quite particular about what they drink). However, they will be satisfied with any colour. If a Meepit is not fed in time you will lose a life. Lose three lives and it's game over.

One of the first things Lisha and her friends do when they arrive in Meridell is learn to play the national sport - Meriball. Use the arrow keys to control Lisha, and hit the ball back at your opponent using the Space Bar. The aim of the game is to be the last person to have hit the ball before it goes off the screen. Make sure you pick up the power ups, and watch out for the burrowing Symols!

Save Count Chocula's castle from the invading green goo bubbles. Choose to play as Count Chocula, Franken Berry, or Boo Berry. Use the left and right arrow keys to move your character and use the spacebar to shoot upwards. Shooting the green goo bubble will split it into two smaller bubbles and earn points. Shooting the smallest bubbles will clear it from the screen. Clear all bubbles to advance to the next level.


Moon Rock Rampage

In Moon Rock Rampage you play either Gorix or Cylara. Your job is to find all the parts of your crashed Escape Ship so you can attempt to fix it and return home. Use the arrow keys to move and the space bar to fire your "laser" gun or push the blocks of moon rock. Shooting or pushing rock into enemies will kill them, and pushing moon rock into the lava will allow you to walk over it.

You have three lives, so be very careful.


Mootix Drop

In Mootix Drop you play Harry, and your job is to successfully parachute down into a number of increasingly hard missions. Using the latest Mootix technology your target has been digitally superimposed on the ground below you, and you have to hit as close to the centre of the target as possible.

To play, use the space bar to launch, and the arrow keys to guide Harry to the target. On the way down there will be a number of rings to fly through. Make sure you guide Harry through as many as possible in order to maximise your score. Flying through the centre of a ring will give you double points! If you quickly tap left or right twice in succession, Harry will do a barrel roll.

Once you have completed easy mode you will be given the option to progress to medium, and then eventually hard modes.


Mutant Graveyard of DOOM

Mutant Graveyard is actually a pretty fun little game, and unlike most of the new games, it's not a giant product placement.

You play Albert (who has been transmogrified by the Esophagor), and your job is to enter the Mutant Graveyard of Doom and collect enough food to appease the Esophagor. Watch out for the Ghostkerchiefs, walking gravestones, and of course the hideous tentacled eyeball beast. Quickly pick up the Spooky Food for the Esophagor without being zapped.

Mystery Island is great, it's hot most of the year, and there is always a beautiful tropical breeze. Why not head down to the beach and play a spot of Volleyball? Mynci Beach Volleyball to be precise!

Gargrall the evil, nasty Grarrl has been imprisoning cute little Petpets, and forcing them to work in his underground Ruby mines. You play Samuel, Petpet crusader. Your job is to get down into those mines and liberate as many petpets as possible (avoiding the lava, boulders and stalactites of course).

Use the arrow keys to move Samuel. Move onto the petpets to pick them up, and then take each petpet back to the entrance individually. You will need to rescue a certain number of petpets to move onto the next level. Picking up gems will earn you bonus points.

This game is very similar to the old "Frogger" arcade game.

Karpoh the Koi is an ambitious young neopet looking to impress his pirate bosses. He has volunteered to go down to the ruins of Maraqua to collect any treasure that he can find down there. How bad could it be? It's just a deserted old city, right? He only wonders why nobody has tried this before!

The goal is to push ALL of the treasure into the chest, so that the pirates can pull it up to their ship. Use the Arrow Keys to move Karpoh around, and use the Space Bar to push things.

If there are any locals around, it would be wise to try to trap them in bubbles to get them out of the way, as they can get defensive about their treasure!

The Annual Happy Valley Skating competition is not far away, so it's time for you to practice some of your best moves! Use the mouse to direct the Bruce and catch as many notes in as few jumps as possible! The notes will change color over time until they turn red and disappear. Your score at the end of each round will be given to you by the three judges below.Be sure to avoid the sharps and flats .

Over time the ice will crack, and reveal water beneath the rink. If you land in it, you'll sink and be disqualified.

In Skarl's Scramble the object is to slide the pieces of the puzzle around, one by one, until the original picture is re-created. It may sound like a normal slidy puzzle, but with one big difference - it's animated.

This is also the first SHOCKWAVE based game on Neopets (as oposed to FLASH) and may require you to download a new file before playing.


Skies Over Meridell

In this game you play a young pilot who has unfortunately enountered a band of ruthless sky-pirates who challenge you to a duel. Don't worry - it's not deadly (you did pack a couple of parachutes). Use your pop-gun to shoot the bandits out of the air. Also, pop the Kiko Blimps to find bonuses (but watch out for the falling baskets.)

To play, use the arrow keys to rotate left and right, and m , or . to fire. You start on the right-hand side in single player mode. There is also a two-player mode where you can challenge a friend.


Snowmuncher

In this game you have to guide Dieter the Polarchuck (a very hungry Polarchuck who just loves munching snow) to the bottom of each level before the time runs out.

Use the arrow keys to move Dieter around - he can climb only one block at a time though. Press the space bar to munch those yummy snow blocks. As Dieter eats he becomes more and more bloated, so pick up the Bloat-B-Gone medicine to help him burp. If he gets to 100% bloated he will lose a life.

Watch out for the Snow Wurms - if you release them they will come after you (but leave their treasures unguarded!) Lastly, collect gems for extra points.

For some reason, I find this game very addictive.

Son of Mask: Turn & Burn

Tim Avery, his son Alvey, and his dog Otis must keep the Mask from Loki. Avoid him at all costs, and don't let him get the Mask!

Guide Tim, Alvey and Otis to the Mask by first dragging the arrows onto squares, and then pressing "GO" to see if they go the correct way. They must collect the Mask in the level and return it to the chest. Note that everbody will turn right when they hit a wall. If they can't turn right, they'll turn left.

Level codes are given after each completed level, and allow you to begin a game from your favourite level.


Spell-Or-Starve

Channy the Mynci has been trapped for three days now. That wicked little Neopet V2 won't let him out of the maintenance area until he has completed his new word game.Help Channy out so he can escape before he starves.

To play the game you have to spell words out by following the blocks in any direction (including diagonals). The longer the word the more points you get. If you get a certain number of points then Neopet V2 will open the door to the next level.

I found this to be a really fun puzzle game. If you do not like word games, then this not the game for you.

Two mischievious Grundos in the space station have set up a game - Splat-A-Sloth. A sock that looks remarkably like Sloth will come firing out the end of their tube, and its your job to hit him with a rolled up copy of the Neopian Times. You can only score points from this game the first 3 times you play daily. You will not be able to send your score, this happens automatically after you splat. Press the Space Bar to use the Neopian Times.


Storytelling

Neopets starts a story every week and you have to write the next paragraph. They will select the best paragraphs every day and put it on the site, and then you have to write the next one, all the way until the story finishes.

Even though this has been around for quite a while, it is only recently that it has been given a spot on the games board.

To play Sutek's Tomb you must swap two adjacent tiles (by clicking on each one in turn). Your aim - to score points by getting three, four or five tiles in a row. Set up combinations to earn bonus points. The Lucky Coin is indeed lucky, as it acts as a wildcard, and the Bomb will destroy all the symbols in a row, but only if it falls more than two blocks. Don't run out of time.

I was unimpressed. I've seen this style of game done much better on other sites.

Evil bugs are attacking Neopian Protection Zone 6b in the Lost Desert. Get inside your specially-designed Wocky Tank and blast those bugs. Some of the enemies will be different colours, if you shoot one of these enemies a power-up crystal will drop. Collect the crystal for one of seven special effects including a smaller and larger tank, and an extra shield.

The Buzzer Game

A fair favorite...sort of...

Use your mouse to guide the metal hoop from one side of the wire to the other. Make sure that the hoop doesnt touch the wire, as this will complete the circuit, sound the buzzer and YOU'RE OUT!

Each level has a time limit, and the quicker you complete it, the more Neopoints you get.


The Castle of Eliv Thade

In the game you control Gilly, a poor Usul who was lost in the woods and accidentally stumbled into the Castle of Eliv Thade seeking shelter. As you enter, the heavy iron door slams shut, and locks behind you. Uh oh. To escape, you must visit all four rooms, and collect an item from each, and then head to the Crypt to put the spirit of Eliv Thade to rest. Beware, this terrible spirit has been driven insane over the years and will do anything he can to stop you escaping his domain.

I love this game...it's a great way to make 700 np at a time.

(Formerly known as the National Neopian Lottery) Purchase a ticket by entering six numbers between 1 and 30 in the boxes. The person with the most numbers matching wins. You can win tickets for this by playing Dice-a-Roo.

The only time I've ever played this is when I won the tickets from Dice-a-Roo. Only won once.


The Warehouse Of Lost Plushies

Your Plushie Friends have been captured. You don't know why, or by whom, but they are gone - and you suspect they are being stored in a local warehouse before being shipped away. You must enter that warehouse and get them back before the unthinkable happens. Navigate your way around the warehouse, but avoid the Grundo employees - if they shine their torch on you they'll sound the alarm!

Use the arrow keys to move and hold the space bar to run. Walk up to a crate and tap the spacebar to lift it. Listen for the Plushie's cries for help - the nearer you are the louder they will be. Find your Plushie in each level to advance.


Tombola

This free game is available once a day. Spin the basket and draw out a number. If the number ends in 0, 2, or 5 you will get a winning prize. Otherwise you may get a "booby prize."

Toybox Escape

Your job is to get the Voice Activated Neopets to safety. On each level you must use each Neopet's special ability to try and guide all the Neopets into the exit (little brown door) in the fastest time possible. Each Neopet has a special ability. Kougras can dig, Unis can turn into ramps, Scorchios can burn through boxes, Shoyrus can jump, Kacheeks can push blocks, and the Mynci can climb.

Lastly, watch out for the spikes, lava and other dangers that you find.

This is where you go to turn in your completed map. There are five maps and each map has nine pieces.

Trouble at the National Neopian

You're a cashier at the National Neopian, and it's an extremely busy day. Not only are people coming in by the dozen to deposit money, a nasty band of thieves has decided to come and steal it all. It's your job to work the security system to keep the customers in and the robbers out.

To control the security system you must use the keyboard. The keys S, D, F control the three doors to the left of the screen, and the keys J, K, L control the other three. Only press the security system when you see a robber! Also, there is a rumour that a new mystery criminal who has recently escaped jail is on the loose.

If you don't activate the alarm, the robber will steal half of your Neopoints. (the ones in the game, not the ones you have earned.) Also, pressing the alarm for no reason will cost you for unnecessary use of the alarm system (it's expensive to maintain) Lastly, you can press the Space Bar to turn 100 NP into a big gold bar (robbers can't steal those as they are too heav!)


Tug-O-War

Tap the "z" and "x" keys to pull your opponent into the river. Keep an eye out for code clouds that can be used to zap your oponent. Speed seems to count more than strength in this game. Click here for the Tug-O-War passwords.

If a Turmac eats a lot, it can grow up to be big and strong! Guide your little Turmac using the arrow keys and collect as many berries as possible without hitting anything or falling in any holes!


Tyrannian Mini Golf

Mini Golf takes on a whole new meaning in the hazardous, prehistoric land of Tyrannia. Choose from three different characters, and three different types of golf ball, and try and complete all 9 holes in the least number of putts.

To play, first choose a character. Some hit the balls farther than others, so experiment and find out which one suits you best. Next, choose a ball, each ball has a different weight. Use your mouse to control the angle and power for your shot (the bigger the oval the farther the ball will travel).

Remember to avoid the lava and sand pits, they will slow your ball down.


Tyranu Evavu

You will be shown two cards, one which you can see and the other which is hidden. You have to guess whether the hidden card is higher (tyranu) or lower (evavu) than the one shown.

I really hate this game...even when you are right, the computer will say you are wrong.

You have ten shots to try and hit the bullseye. Use the up and down arrow keys to move the crossbow, keep the Space Bar down to build up power, and then release it to fire.

Use the Arrow Keys to move Sally through all 5 rooms of her Neohome. If you pick up a wrong set, quickly place it back on the shelf before you continue.

I suppose if I were a young girl of about 6, this would be entertaining.


Vending Machine

Put a Nerkmid in the machine, and it will dispense rare and exotic foods for your pet. Press the buttons and push the levers for a chance to get a rarer treat. The better the Nerkmid, the better your prize.

Good luck finding Nerkmids, though. If I were you, I'd sell any I find rather than taking a chance and wasting them here.

Volcano Run

Glubgar the Tyrannian Scorchio has ventured a bit too deeply into a rather large Volcano... the lava is so hot there that even Scorchios cannot survive! See how far through the volcanic tunnels you can guide Glubgar! Use the left mouse button to fly upwards, and release the button to go downwards. If you press the Space Bar Glubgar will use his wings to brake. Avoid the fiery bombs that fly towards you, and try not to crash into the walls of the tunnel or the rocks. Collect the crystals for extra points, and the force shield will allow you to crash into a rock without dying. If you hit the cloud it will slow you down for a few seconds.

MAGAX: Destroyer


Warf Rescue Team

You must stack the Warfs up so they form a big tall column of Warfs. When the green bar moves into the correct position, click and hold the left mouse button. This will launch a Warf from a catapult onto the top of the stack. Try and maneuver the Warfs into the Kadoaties so they can help them to safety. If you get the Warf perfectly on top of the one below it you get a bonus.

Avoid other creatures that may be hiding up the tree (you only want Kadoaties!) If three Warfs fall and miss the stack, its GAME OVER.


Web of Vernax

To play, you use the mouse. You have to spin your webs and try and capture the Vernax in the smallest area possible. To make a web, click the left mouse button somewhere on the game area, drag the mouse in the direction you wish to go, and then release the button, you will then start moving in that direction. Once you hit a web, or the edge of the screen your web will turn a solid grey colour. To trap a Vernax try and enclose it in the smallest area possible.

Trouble at the National Neopian


Whack a Staff Member

Neopets style of the classic whack a mole game. Staff members pop up, and its up to you to whack them on the head and score points. Use the mouse to move the mallet and the space bar to hit them.

Watch out for the Neopets however, hit those and you will lose points.

You can spin it once every 60 minutes and it costs 200np per spin, but you can win up to 10,000np. Be careful, though, it can also do bad things to your pet, too.

If your pet is injured on the Wheel, you do not have to pay outrageous prices to cure/heal your pet. The Water Faerie at the Healing Springs will eventually completely heal your pet if you are patient.

Welcome, scholars and scholaresses to the Wheel of Knowledge. You could win Neopoints, an item, or even our grand prize - wisdom from the mouth of King Hagan himself. Let the enlightenment begin!

Wheel of Mediocrity

Neopets proudly states that this is officially the most mediocre game in Tyrannia! One spin of the wheel could win you a prize, or it could end in.. something nasty.

The name pretty much says it all...I do like this one, but I prefer The Wheel of Excitement.


Wheel of Misfortune

You can spin it once every two hours and it costs 100np per spin, and there is no telling what will happen. Be careful, though, it can often do bad things to your pet, too.


Wheel of Monotony

You can spin it once every 12 hours and it costs 100np per spin, and there is no telling what will happen. Once you start spinning this, it will run for a random amount of time up to 12 hours. You cannot stop it.


Wise Old King

King Hagan has opened his castle doors and is seeking the wisest Neopets in the land. If you think your Neopet has what it takes to impress King Hagan, why not give Wise Old King a try?

As with Grumpy Old King, these sayings do not have to make sense...which is a good thing.

In Word Poker you are given a scrambled up word and have to make as many words as possible out of it in a time limit. There are six categories that you must score points in, three-letter words, four-letter words, five-letter, full house, flush and wild. After each 60 second round has finished, click on the category that you did the best in, and that score will be saved. The game is over after all six rounds are up.

Zurroball

Choose your Zurroball, and then see how long you can keep it in the air by clicking on it. Very simple really! Do tricks such as the Boomerang and Left Zurro to earn bonus points. You can only collect the points by hitting the Zurroball over the red line. Try and accumulate as many points as possible before you do this.

I didn't have very much luck with this, but at least it's not another product placement game.
